Once a boat has been winterized by Marine Masters, the engine and related systems should not be started until spring and weather conditions are suitable for safe operation.
Marine Masters recommends proper spring servicing and preparation before operating the boat after winter storage.
The customer is responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage on the boat, trailer and personal property while stored with Marine Masters.
Marine Masters will take reasonable care of boats while in its possession. The agreement states that Marine Masters is not responsible for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, wind, hail, storms, fire, flooding, falling trees or branches, animals, vandalism, theft or other acts of nature.
Customers should remove valuables and personal property before storage. Marine Masters is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings left inside the boat, including electronics, fishing equipment, life jackets, gear, keys or other items.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the trailer is safe and roadworthy. The agreement addresses tire, wheel-bearing, light, jack, strap and other trailer-related failures unless directly caused by Marine Masters negligence.
When Marine Masters transports a boat, the customer is responsible for making sure loose items, equipment, covers, doors, windows and compartments are properly secured.
Customers are responsible for accurate contact information and pickup or delivery arrangements. Marine Masters requests at least 10 days' notice for pickup or delivery scheduling. Boats remaining beyond the agreed storage period may be subject to additional storage fees.
Marine Masters is built around a simple goal: make seasonal boat care easier by bringing winterization, storage, detailing, maintenance and transportation together in one place.
Customers can arrange winterization, storage, shrink wrapping, maintenance, detailing, trailer checks, pickup and delivery, then add a spring run-up before boating season.
Customers identify known problems and special instructions, Marine Masters may document boat condition before storage or transportation, and additional repairs or services discovered during work may require customer approval before completion.
Large maintenance, detailing and upgrade projects can be handled during the off-season so owners do not have to give up valuable boating time when the weather turns warm.
